P06A8 problem

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any ideas my 2010 1.6 diesel fiesta has a annoying p06A8 code and engine is refusing to start Ive bought a oscilloscope to go through electrics but have no idea where to start it's a permanent code and have done some research but everywhere I've looked people are saying it's like looking for a needle in a haystack any help would be appreciated

Could be a broken corroded wire. You'll have to test each circuit

Could be the PCM going down

Simple low battery voltage can cause it though, fully charge the battery and perform a DTC clear with FORscan

I have had a replacement and reprogrammed ECU as the Bosch DCIM3.5 are prone to it so that has been eliminated I've tried to delete the code it won't erase so I've ordered a oscilloscope and looks like I'm going have to completely go through every electrical wire and sensor I can find cheers for reply
