2.0 TDCI 150 (DW10F) - P003a

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Ford Focus MK3.5 2018 year, 2.0 TDCI 150bhp. Actually it is switched to 180bhp (standard dw10f switch procedure).
The mileage is 198000km, car is generally in very good condition.
Some time ago i've discovered P003A fault in the PCM - without service (limp?) mode, just an error in the PCM module. Car was generally running perfectly.

After 3-4 months with constant P003A fault, the P1102 fault appeared - but that one caused limp mode, no power, and it was apprearing very often - sometimes even few times a day.
So what have i done:

  • cleaned all engine ground points - didn't help at all

  • cleand pcm plug connectors - found some topic on that forum about that - didn't help at all

  • cleaned throttle valve (not sure if that is correct name - i mean that part: https://ford-esklep.pl/przepustnica-2-0-tdci-dw10f-continental--vdo,1a2c8576630080) - also replaced all seals around that place - didnt help at all

  • replaced turbo solenoid valve - no changes

  • replaced EGR valve and all vacuum hoses - after that P1102 disappeared and the only one which is still present is P003A

What else should I do? Turbo replacing? I could do that, but before i will, i would like to have any % of confidence that it will help :/

Thank You all for any idea.
