I just bought a 2014 Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium and the right Xenon headlight goes out from time to time and when it goes out it says headlight malfunction on the dash even tho it was working until that popped up, can you help me? It seems to be a common issue, I hope it won't be expensive.

    Hi,

    I'd try a new ballast first. New aftermarket versions can be bought cheaply on eBay.

    You could also swap the ballasts on your car from left to right. If the fault moves to the other light then that proves it is the ballast at fault.
