Martin of Binfield
A brake light failure message came up. I've changed the hi-level brake light bulb (after wrestling with the spring clips and then discovering you can remove the bulb carrier without removing the spring clips). However, when I press the brake pedal the new bulb glows for a moment and then goes out. Pressing the brakes again does nothing. If I turn the ignition off and on again, I get the brief glow again the first time I press the brake. With no bulb in, I'm getting 10-11V on the bulb holder whether or not the brake pedal is pressed. It seems like a solid-state "fuse" is faulty. Can anyone tell me which module this is? thanks!
