My son had! A Ford focus chic 2002

In excellent condition only 84,000 we live on an island so don’t go far!

Last week a drunk driver crashed into it while parked and wrote it off - the insurance company are saying it’s worth less than £1,000 - this was his pride and joy bought from new for 24 years!

Anyone know a value

    Sadly I think the sentimental value massively outweighs the monetary value on this car.

    84,000 miles isn't even that low. There are a few Focus's around the same age on Autotrader with half that mileage for under £2000. I reckon you could push for maybe £1500 on this one, but I wouldn't be expecting much more than that.

    The only Mk1 Focus's that are worth thousands right now are the RS's.
