I'm not racist in the slightest but if there religion is that much against our history then dont come to Britain, it would be completely different if we were in Pakistan and anyone from this country did that, we would be shot/tortured/arrested or made an example of.... I cannot beleive it!!!!

On a similar note... Today, at my school, we did the usual 2 minute silence. This is quite something, as all 1100 of us congregate in a big courtyard, we have trumpeters etc. but this year there were some German exchange students there. This would ordinarily be fine, but they were talking to each other, albeit quietly, throughout the entire silence. Again, aweful, and a show of disrespect.

it is just another case of the two tier justis system in this country, this happened close to us and what was done - BUGGER ALL.

just read the article and what can i say?!? absolutely disgusting.... one thing i will say is, if they dont like it...they can stop claiming off our government to lead "happier lives", take a long walk back to where they originated from and live there again, in squaller. Mind you its only the minority that have this mentality of the ones in the article, the rest love it here, they even love christmas and they respect the traditional british holidays/celebrations/memorials etc (feel sorry for those in oxford who celebrate winterval).

but in the end of the day this happens every year and the government do sod all, as the protestors have some sort of legal right etc etc. which i think is a really sad thing...definately need to get this sorted out!

i can remember when i was on parade in manchester a few year ago for rememberance day, and in London st. clemantines church for the 90th anneversary parade of the RAF, a year later. all the people came out and cheered like crazy! probably one of the best days ever! Will be more than happy to do all this again if choosen.

Royal Navy Reserves... Like the TA for the Navy.

Ive been attached to a Marine Detachment for the last year so missed the last parade. So cant wait. I think its one of the days everyone should be proud to be British and understand what was lost to gain so much!
