Hi All

Some advice please My Mondeo decided to play up the other day ! It decided it was not going to rev over 2000rpm and was running a little lumpy . I went to see a friend who works in a local garage and he suggested that it had maybe gone into limp home mode and the ECM would reset when the ignition had been turned off . Which I beleive it has and appears to now be ok . But my question is is this a common thing ? Is it likely to do this again In other words in the cold weather we are having likely to affect sensors etc ? . Is there any way of reading the codes without paying the garages extortianate prices ?
