S-Max Fog Lamp Removal

Featured Replies

Have read the handbook and not as simple as it is made out... anybody know how to remove the fog lamps so that I can replace a side light?

Probably worth posting this q on the smax owners club website.

Make sure your vehicle and lights are both off. Open the hood of your vehicle.

Turn the light socket of the fog lamp in a counterclockwise direction. The light socket of the fog light is located in the engine compartment of the vehicle, next to the headlights.

Pull the light socket of the fog lamp rearward to remove it. Remove the electrical connector from the bulb by pulling it away from the bulb.

Pull the bulb from its socket and replace it with a new bulb.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb. Replace the light socket in the fog light assembly and turn clockwise until secure.

Close the hood of the vehicle and turn the fog lights on to make sure they are working properly
