Strage Noise When Slowing Down

recently in my mk7 1.25 style+ fiesta when im slowing down for rounabouts/junctions usually in 2nd gear i hear a strange noise kinda like a monotone siren which goes away as soon as i stop and put the clutch in, its only just started happening and it doesnt seem right, has anyone else had any similar problems??

    Sounds like clutch release bearing

    Did you find out what was causing this problem? my 2011 Fiesta zetec 1.25 is doing the exact same but very intermittent, I would be interested to know what was causing it. Regards Paul.
