Its A Ford But Not As You Know It!

The Ford Trimotor was an American three-engined transport plane that was first produced in 1925 by the companies of Henry Ford and was produced until June 1933. Throughout its time in production, a total of 199 Ford Trimotors were produced.Although it was designed for the civil aviation market, this aircraft was also used by military units, and it was sold all over the world.

The last versions were powered by 3x 420hp Pratt and Whitney Wasp radial engines, top speed was 150mph. it had a range of over 500 miles. There are currently 18 Trimotors still in existence,6 of those are still in flying condition and earning their keep on charter and excursion flights etc.
