jmurray01
Well, we were meant to be moving today, but the loan we got that was meant to go into the bank today for the deposit didn't go in! The person we spoke to says it may take another day or two! Argh!! Plus, since we thought we'd be moving today we cancelled the broadband in advance, so now we have no internet at home, so I'm at the library typing this. This is a random thread I suppose, but just wanted to get it off my chest! EDIT - The money just went in! :D Will still be Tuesday before we move though... jmurray01
Well, we've been moved for a week now (did get moved in Tuesday as planned), and the house is great! The Fiesta is in her garage as I type, however for the wrong reason! The reason is, the serpentine belt has started slipping badly, and I don't want to risk using the car and draining the battery, so until I get it sorted, she's staying in the garage. The belt is quite worn, and the ribs are cracked, so I think it is just wear that has caused the slip, so, question is; how easy (or hard) is it to change the belt ? To give you an idea of what level I'm on, I've changed coolant, oil, filters etc... Not anything really hard, but I expect changing the belt can't be too hard can it ?
