Just been at the local Ford dealer for a new fuel filter for my 55 plate TDCI. New part is different from old, Ford dealer says that there have been alot of revisions of this filter. Old one has an electrical socket on it presumably for the fuel heater but new one does not, only a blank hole for the plug to fit into. Also slightly different shape and size. Has any one had to fit a replacement fuel filter on a TDCI with the filter being different?
