hi can any one help me ?? i have a focus 06 reg 1.8tdci when car is at 2000 revs a light comes on like an exclamation mark in a cog shaped circle and car goes into limp mode not all the time but the majority any1 any clues as i dont have an owners manual !!???

    According to my handbook the light you describe is an engine systems fault warning light.

    From the handbook.

    "If it illuminates when driving, it indicates a malfunction of the engine and powertrain related systems. Stop the vehicle and switch off the engine. Have the engine checked by an expert immediately.

    Check the fuel filter, replace as necessary and do the same with your oil / oil filter!
