Dpf Sparatic Issues

Featured Replies

Hi I bought a 2006 focus 2.0 tdci with 58k miles on it last year, at the time it had an engine fault and ford told me they had fixed the particulate filter. Since then I have done 15k miles and the engine warning light comes on and off every few days lasting a few days at a time, the power is also really weak when this happens. I borrowed a code reader tonight which give me the p2002 Dpf code, after I reset it, the engine went back to full power. Could this be an electrical sensor fault rather than genuine filter fault? I also have a ford fitted tow bar which l have heard could be affecting the sensor wiring? And I have went through 4 sets of headlights inthe past year? Any suggestions appreciated
