When I picked up my new Fiesta - the garage gave me a set of mats,w hich was v nice... but they had a different fixing on - so whilst the drivers mat does sit over the fixing, it is not the latest version of the mat - sorry am not explaining this well. not a problem as the garage are getting me a new set (or really I only need driver's).. but they say they are still waiting on them to arrive. it has been a while.. its fine for now, but just wondered, did anyone else have this - and wonder why the fixings changed anyway... and not like the MK7 only came out yesterday

    Can you not get them from the service counter? I got a free set from the counter when I picked up my new fiesta (this was 2001).

    oh sorry, I thought I had put it in Fiesta...

    the garage has a service part and they are the ones getting them for me. the fixtures must have changed slightly as the hole on the mat is roughly in the right place. makes you wonder why they change these things, which then causes other issues eh
