Roof Bars

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm new to this group and have recently bought a 2010 Focus RS. I have some Thule roof bars which I would like to be able to use. However, there doesn't appear to be any fixing points under the removeable caps on the roof. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Chris

I wouldn't of thought they would of put them there, let's be honest not many people would want to put a roof rack on a RS,

I may be wrong

Yeah roof rack and RS don't sound right but hey.Have you got photos of your RS

If you remove the blanking strips, below you will see the seam is full os sealent, dig out the sealent in the centre to reveal a plastic blanking screw, remove this blank and your roof bar mounting screws in here, upon removal of the foof bar adapter you must re fit the blanking screw and fill the hole with sealer or your car will get wet inside.

Regards Brian
