Boot Lettering Debadge

Featured Replies

I finally got round to removing the lettering from my Fiesta boot today,

it previously had the fiesta logo as well as zetec in capital letters.

Would love to know what you guys think :)

It's all about taste, right?

Well after I realised how easy it would be to stick them back on I thoughr why not :D

I love it, I think it looks really smooth and clean as you say :)

i am minus the zetec badge but i love the new fiesta badge too much haha

I prefer keepings my cars Identity :)

But its all done to personal preference

I am really beginning to like the white fez, but would rather keep the badges

you would though having a S!!! :)

Removing the badges makes the car look a hell of a lot more cleaner. And about keeping the cars identity, you can tell from a mile off what a Fiesta looks like.

heaps better mate ;)

I just left the S on and it looks pretty good. I have a "less is more" view when it comes to cars.

And I'm pretty sure most people on these forums know they have a fiesta without the badge on the back.

Does it leave any marks after removal?

doesnt the stickieness go off the badges or do they place right back on, might do it to mine?

Nope none at all, cleaned the left over residue with spirit cleaner and a cloth. It's only adhesive foam

And know the its a hardened adhesive that you have to warm with a hairdryer to be able to remove. To re-attach the badge you will have to guy some new adhesive on, or use an alternative

I used lighter fluid to remove mine. Came off real easy with no residue. Just make sure your not smoking when you do it.

I used a hairdryer and dental floss to remove mine, and then tar remover for the residue. No marks left.

OK, that's good news :) Easy as that...
