i have a 10 plate zetec s and the footwell lights just needed the bulbs and now work,(did that wwhen i first got it)]

i have bought an led strip for the center console and tried wiring it into where the glovebox strip normally goes as the wiring is ll there, now when i turn ignition on or lights on theres no volts there what so every? are the footwell and glovebox lighting in the same fuse??

any help would be greatful iv tried doing searches and havent brought any thing back

Hi! that is on different wiring i think, you can turn on and off in the stereo menu... have a look on it may it is off.

nope not in the menu the only thing that reverts to interior lighting is the dimming, if its automatic when lights are on or daylight(timing) unless its only in the menu if you have the ambient lighting package?

i have wired it off the 12v power supply for now till i get a permenant fix

Hi mate, the standard ambient lighting isn't fused. It runs off the GEM console which is a complete sod to find. There is already a thread for this so take a look

aint it just fused behind the glove box??
