Mk7 Alarm?

Featured Replies

Hello i have a MK7 zetec S (2009)

it has the "Security Lock Group #12" alarm fitted which i find is a bit to quiet as it just uses the horn

does anyone know if its possible to wire a louder siren in with this alarm or does anyone have a wiring diagram ?

thanks shaun

Hi

I have set my alarm off before by accident by locking the car with the window open. then opening the bonnet. the hooting sound was coming from the drivers side rear quater panel.

I would imagine if u wanted u could wire an electric air horn lol.

Jamie

By the way guys, all Fiesta Mk7 come with the alarm as standard?

hi, is there a standard alarm on the zetec 1.25?

thank you

Perimeter anti-theft could be a Microwave sensor fitted, (no not like the thing that heats up Beans)

its like a ultra-sonic sensor, leave the window open and lock the car,

stick your arm in and see does it set off the alarm

Ultra-sonic systems are generaly used in convertable models but also set the alarm off if your peering in the windows.
