Hi guys, been looking through this fine forum for weeks now and I am very inspired to mod my Ford Fiesta Mk 6.5 Zetec TDCI.

First things first... Debadge - but my question is that when the rear FORD badge is removed, is this held in with pins or will it come straight off with the dentil floss and hair dryer method?

Also if it is that easy, does it not look sillt with the raised part that accomodates the FORD logo?

If anyone has any pics of what the rear looks like with the full debadge can they please post it.

Any info and help about this would be much appreciated :)

I wouldn't remove the ford badge, it's most common to just remove the lettering eg. "Zetec" "TDCI" "Fiesta"

If you want to change the look of your Ford badge maybe look into gel overlays: http://www.dmb.uk.com/Category/FORD-BADGES---GEL-OVERLAYS/39 they come in several colours and styles.

They come off pretty easy with a screwdriver, but there is 2 pins in the back of it, so it will leave you with 2 holes in the tailgate plus the sticky pad as well.

Cheers for the reply guys - Thats exactly the info I was looking for. Just as there were no pics of a standard rear debadged Mk6.5. All the pics I seen were of a completely different boot which was nice and smooth.

I will need to look at the gel overlays (which Im guessing just goes ontop of the original badge?)

I do like the badgeless grill which is up on ebay and different sites.

Im not looking to heavily mod my car just make a few things different as I need to hang onto this one for a few years :)

Yeah DMBs just go on top of existing badge using a little heat to ensure a good stick. ;)
