Tyres For Mk7 Zetec-S

Featured Replies

What would anyone recommend to be a good tyre for mk7 zetec-s I thought about the yokohama parada from puma speed it's for 17inc alloys.

all depends what you want from the tyres,

i have always preferred toyo t1r's on my st. amazing grip.

im sure you get them in 15's and 16's

Ive got Toyo proxes px4, these to have a lot of grip, and a nice ride plus they seem to me anyway to be quieter than the Bridgestone potenzas that came on it from the factory

Adrian

Done 3,000 on mohawks made by yokohama, great tyre.

Just put 4 Hankook evo12 on mine, 320 quid fitted from blackcircles. Ford fit them as a standard now I believe. Yokahama's in my experience grip well, but wear fast. Can't really say anything about the hankook's yet.

I would highly recommend Continental ContiSport 3s. They are the most expensive tyre but have great grip and last for ages. Im at 16000 miles with 4mm of tread left.

I also had Falken with my E46 and really liked them.

I agree, these are a brilliant tyre and last really long! really good in the wet and dry, and only £64 from black circles ;) the prada spec 2'S from puma speed are pathetic, useless in the wet and they last no time at all....i bought my yokohamas off ebay and got them for half the price of pumaspeed as well ;)

How did you find the wear rate? The inner edges of mine were totally bald after 14,000 miles!

They dont wear out easily, mine are just a little worn out on the outer edges, but that is because I drive like a maniac :D

If your inner edge is worn out,you could have a problem with tracking,or twisted alloys :(
