I poped down to my dealer earlier in the week and ordered the Zetec S spoiler for my new fiesta. What are your views on how it looks? Ignore the colour etc as its being painted black next week for when i pick up the new car.

i think the new fez is pukka! specialy the zs. drop a 2 litre cossie engine and 4x4 running gear and ur well away lol!

Thats gonna be a bit like marmite. People are either gonna love it or hate it. Post a pic when its painted and on. Look forward to seeing it.

It's been 7 weeks since i ordered the car and i now think they are taking the royal pi$$. They wont even tell me if the car is in the UK or anything!

You need to get yourself a decent dealer Mark--sounds like yours is really taking advantage. I've just ordered a 1.6 titanium with full body kit; leather x pack; 17" alloys; bluetooth; parking sensors in sexy hot magenta and I've been quoted 8-10 weeks officially but unofficially he reckons early Jan.

Needless to say I can't wait!! B)

I've just confirmed with the dealers today that i can pick up my new Zetec on thurs- 8 weeks after putting in the order! I only obtained the Reg a week ago but strangly the invoice stated date of reg as 8/12/08.

I asked the dealers the other day if the new Fiesta is selling well as i had not seen many on the road yet, he informs they are but with the economic downturn production is slower. Apparently a container wont be sent to the uk (cars are made in valencia) until full.

Even this week i was promised sat 5th then sun then next week etc.... Until i threw a bit of a hissy and quelle surprise its ready on Thurs!!

Cant wait, 1.4 Zetec panther black, bluetooth and lighting and £250 off list price due to cut in VAT! (i ordered at time of promo so got £500 off too!)

Thats an exact copy of my car! even down to the engine :P Apart from when (or if) i get mine, it will have the ford "sports pack" on it. Which is the rear spoiler, some nice shiney pedals and scuff plates. I have all the parts at my house now, but no car to put it on!

I also got a cool £1,600 off (before the VAT discount) :)

You got a good discount off yours didn't you? Maybe that sweetens the fact that you are having to wait a little longer for it!

When I was talking to my dealer he said that he sold a couple over the weekend and the only reason mine will take so long is that they tend to order these to customer requirement rather than stock apparently!

Yep, got a nice discount off it, but it don't make it much better when i've been waiting 7 weeks! :( The spoiler only took 3 days and that came from Germany!

Hi i really want to put the zetec s spoiler onto my zetec. Did you order staright from the ford dealer?

If you dont mind me aksing how much did it cost, and how much to paint?

Is it easy to put it on?

I think the whole Zetec S body kit with side skirts finishes the car off perfectly. Subtle enough not to make you look like a boy racer but obvious enough so that people can see it's more 'beefed up' - hence why I went for the full Dress Up kit on my 3 door Titanium

Hi,here is a photo of mine,18" alloys and dropped on Eibach springs.

Nice but personally would not go above 17"ers as the tyres on anything bigger look like elastic bands and would worry that ride comfort would suffer
