Mpg Calculator

Featured Replies

Hello,

Apologies if this is considered spam, it is not meant as, basically I have decided to start using what Uni taught me and my first task was to create a really simple PHP calculator so when I was on the way back from getting diesel I could calculate my MPG.

I then decided I was going to improve it to add more functionality such as logging etc, which im working on over the next week or so.

Basically just thought id post it if anyone want to use it, no ads or no rubbish just simply, Iv got it as a home page bookmark so its only one click.

As I said sorry if it is considered spam just maybe it will help some people. feel free to pass it on.

Also any feedback is appreciated as to what I should add to it.

By the way im aware of the many apps but all my data was on my iphone and now im using andorid so hense me doing this so its database based and therefore accessed via any phone, pc, ipad etc.

Nice, simple and clear.

Anyone who wants to put this on an android smartphone for quick access:

1) Open the URL in browser (www.alloyditservices.co.uk/MPGCalc)

2) Save as bookmark (next to address bar)

3) Choose name or leave as default

Add a shortcut:

1) Find a screen with room for an icon, or make room by deleting something you don't use

2) Menu button -> Add -> Shortcuts -> Bookmark -> Select the bookmark.

Not sure on the process for other platforms, probably similar.

Thanks for this anyway :)
