What Sort Of Tyre Life For Fiesta 1.4 Zetec

Featured Replies

My wife has just got a 2009 1.4 Fiesta Zetec.

Roughly what sort of mileage should she expect to out of a set of tyres when driveing normally ie no wheel spining etc but not crawling along.

How long is a piece of string?

I don't know about others but I'd expect at least 20,000 from a front set.

Thanks for that, not to bad then ;-)

hi

well ive got a 2009 1.4tdci zetec, ive done 13500 miles roughly and had my second service very recent , no mention of new tyres needed soon.

like above i expect to get a lot more miles out of them yet!

If they are regularly balanced, rotated and properly inflated, there's no reason why you couldn't get more than 30K from them, especialyl with the missus driving ;)

also depends what tyre you have , mitchelin energy savers are supposed to last for ages, the front tyres on our focus have lasted 24000 miles so far and are still in excellent condition and thats got a heavy diesel up front they are mitchelins but not energy savers :)

23000 miles on my 1.4 tdci, still loads of tread left, should be good for 30.000+
