Ticket In Cd Player

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My friends child was let lose in my car the other day and ended up putting a car parking ticket into my cd player :/ obviously now it won't take CDs.. I've tried fishing it out with no luck so wondered what people's recommendations are.

It's a fiesta mk7

Thanks

Marc

Can you see it in there with a torch? If so I'd go with tweezers if you haven't already or something sticky (double sided tape or glue if you're careful) on something long and flat like a strip of card...

If it's loose maybe some hard acceleration will help bring it into reach. That's how I get bits from the back of my secret hole!

I've looked with a tourch but the slot has flaps so can't really see in there I'll try the tape idea , taking it apart looks quite scary !

You might not have to take it apart if you can get it out, maybe just by turning it upside down with the flap open it will drop out.

Is it quite easy to take the unit out? May give that a go.. How much would ford charge to do this? Or anyone around slough fancy making a few bob?!
