    Do you have them set to 'off' with the switch stalk in the bottom position?

    bottom position is off, up one is auto, up two/three is manual.

    When you turn the sensitivity knob up do they wipe at all? Mine are also a bit crap to be honest, sometimes when it rains they don't come on, sometimes when I use the washer jets they stay on forever.
