Just got a 2009 Fiesta 1.4 Zetec that has a space saver spare wheel.

Does anyone know what the tyre pressure should be as I have looked in the manual & it does not say

    You could be correct I just wanted to make sure.

    Have you tried looking at the tire? As far as I know, all consumer based tires say what the max PSI should be.

    max pressure and recommended pressure are 2 totally different things

    I don't have my manual with me at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that there's a footnote in there somewhere that says that the spare should have quite a high pressure - about 3 atmospheres I think.

    I noticed this when I had to change a wheel on my car (a Fiesta Studio, where all the wheels are "space savers"), and I had to let some air out of the spare to match the others, which were at the correct pressure of about 2 atmospheres.
