Fiesta Tdci 1.6 Power Steering Fluid

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 08 mk6 Fiesta 1.6 tdci. The power steering fluid has gone well below the min mark to the point where I cannot tell what color was in it. The manual says to use WSS-M2C195-A however my local ford dealer has only WSA-m2c195-a (red I think) and WSS-M2C204-A2 which is green. He checked it on the ford parts computer and it said for the 1.6 tdci to use the WSS-M2C204-A2.

Before I put it in, has anyone used the WSS-M2C204-A2? Or anyone with a 08 mk6 fiesta 1.6 tdci, what color is the fluid in there?

Just wondering in case there is any risk if the previous owner would have used red fluid I add green.

thanks,
