Playing Music Through Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Is it possible to play music through the Bluetooth?

My car is a 59 reg Ford Focus Zetec S with a 6000CD Radio. I have Bluetooth in the car. My phone is the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Now I can hook the phone up so that calls work great. Also the phone options are all correct for allowing media. When I go to the song on the phone, I can choose to play through phone opr through Bluetooth, when selecting the Bluetooth option, the music from the phone is silent as it is sending it by Bluetooth. The problem I'm having is that the car will not pick up the media from the phone at all. So is it possible to be able to do this? According to this site, they seem to think so.

I don't have the 6000CD , i have the Nav FX which when pressing source and selecting bluetooth with my Galaxy S I9000 starts to play the desired track i can then flick through next song(s) via audio stick control and also Voice control.Only thing o find that via bluetooth it does not display song info on the stereo screen , unlike when playing from USB.

Under your wireless / bluetooth settings does it show Ford Audio paired with an image of headphones.

Yeah, it shows that. Also when you click and hold onto it, it brings up a mini menu where you can click options. Both phone and media options are ticked. I've tried everything, can't seem to get music from the phone to the car through Bluetooth.
