I managed to get out of the city with the car and I had some small happenings and I am slightly worries that this is just the beginning...:D

Anyway, while listening to the music on the USB, suddenly I get a message "alarm announcement" although I don't have any alarm installed on my Fiesta. Later on, while listening to the music on the CD, I got another message "traffic announcement". Any idea why I get this messages constantly? (got them for several times already)

Second problem: while driving on the highway, 125-130km/h I've realized that the steering wheel was shaking a bit, not much but still somehow noticeable. Any idea if this could be a serious problem or am I just over worried?

Some words of comport?

Traffic announcement is when the cd will change to the local traffic radio channel and give you updates

think it can be disabled by the TP button on the radio?

not sure what alarm announcement is about tho

I think It's TA button to turn off traffic announcements, the car comes with them turned on as default, simply press the button to turn off. Small logo on the centre console screen will turn off to show they've been disabled.

Can you expand on the alarm announcement any more? I'm fairly sure your fiesta will have come with an alarm/immobiliser as standard, just like the UK ones. When the alarm is triggered, a message comes up on the centre console when the cars ignition is next turned on. Is this what you mean?

The steering shouldn't shake at around 80mph (quick google conversion). Though obv I've never gone that fast <cough...ahem> ;)

If it's that bad I would take it back to your dealer to get the tracking & wheel balancing checked as it should be damn near perfect on a brand new car.

Other possibilities are that you already have a buckled wheel or a deformed tyre :(

Don't really know what to say more, the alarm announcement was rather funny because I was listening to music on my USB stick...I guess I will have to ask my dealer...

That's what I thought also...I will check the tyres and wheels today to see if there is any problem there. If it's coming from some other thing, I will be really disappointed considering that the car has less than 2000 km driven.
