Cheap Ford Fiesta Mk4/5 Modifications

Featured Replies

I bought a ford fiesta mk4 about a year ago but never got round to adding modifications onto it, I would like to do up my car but i have little money to do so, does anyone know where i can get cheap modifications ? and whats the easier to do to my fiesta, ive looked round the internet but can't seem to find anything i can really afford, im looking to spend about £1000 at the most for everything on my car. Any help ?

Thanks for your time...

go for simple things like black headlights, buy some spray to 'smoke' the rear lights (police can be a problem if you do it too much tho, spray the wheels with two contrasting colous eg black with red band (for example i have just steel wheels that are gloss black with silver bands), vynals simple patterns such as stipes or chequers work quite well. i would say get some lowering springs but they realy wont be all that great and can be quite expensive especialy when the ruin your shock absorbers (my car is feeling the strain as owner before had it lowered on standard shocks and now theyre knakered)if you realy do want a lowered look go for comleate kits instead of just the springs. Also maybe try cutting the grills out and replacing with metal mesh (personaly i dont like it but hey its ure car:)) all of that sorta stuff costs peanuts apart from the lights possibly :D let us know what sorta things you do to it:)

hope this helps :D

http://www.madmotors.co.uk/autoart-ford-fiesta-mk4-96-99-black-projector-angel-eye-headlights.html you will most likely find these to be the most expensive item but you can get them on ebay for much less than on here

you could spray the grills gloss black, just pop them out place them on a sheet of cardboard on the grass, preferably on a still dry day and spray them, also depending on the colour of your car you could spray your rear view mirror the same colour, check my link below for this, tinting the rear windows is also a nice touch along with a tinted visor strip,

www.dmb.uk.com will provide nice gel overlay badges and vynl at little expense just rob your mums hairdryer for 5minutes to apply ads a nice touch.

SMD can bus leds for your parking lights are also very cheap, convert interior bulbs to smd led's also, will look alot better in ice white alot brighter too.

or carbon wrap your bonnet. if your car is white, perhaps remove parts of the dash and spray the same colour.

the tinted windows and led bulbs are the best cheap mod to really give your car the modified look at low expence.

custom back box exhaust will draw attention but also the cops so not really worth it in my eyes.

and a K&N induction kit will only blow petrol out your exhaust if you dont get the ECU mapped to go along with it mate.

foliatec claiper paint in red is nice also heat resistant up to 750oC its a 2 part mix of laquer and hardner, rob your mums pyrex jug to mix it up and an artists brush as a plastic jug will affect the colour of the paint.

the next thing up would be new alloys or a sub in the boot your looking around the £300 figur for that kind of thing.

also Ebay is your best friend when it comes to modifying your motor, Halfords is good for viewing the item but log on to ebay when you want to buy it, major difference in cost between the two for the same item.

some other webistes to check out are:

www.caraudiodirect.co.uk

www.alibaba.com

www.dmb.uk.com

www.alltronix.co.uk

if i think of any more ill let you know.
