Lost The Car Key...

Well, to add to my list of moving home woes, I also managed to lose the car key over the weekend.

Luckily I had a spare one but no idea of how it will cost me to replace it. Is there a way of telling if one key is a 'master' or are they both the same?

Live close to B'ham if anybody can recommend a place to get a new one done?

    they don't have master keys anymore. just take the V5 and your current key to a ford dealer and expect to pay around the £120 mark for a new one to be cut and programmed.

    Is that for a remote key? My dad "misplaced" my spare key and i'm considering getting a flip key and giving him my big long remote key for his key I just didnt know how much a remote flip out key costs.

    Can I get a flip key if my car came with the other kind of remote key?
