Passenger Headlight

Featured Replies

Hi,

Previously posted about my headlights making a noise when swithched on,

It's the passenger side headlight, when you disconnect the power to the light and switch the lights back on the noise stops,

Do i need to replace the whole of the passenger side light or is it the cable that connects to the light,

Also, is the light easy to replace yourself if i buy one, dont want to pay for labour,

Cheers

My mk5 fiesta had a noisy headlight which was caused by the level adjustment motor not engaging properly. I had it looked at when it was serviced once but nothing was ever done about, it still adjusted properly so it didn't matter too much. Regarding replacing the light, it should be easy enough as you normally have to remove the unit to change a bulb. To be sure just have a look in the handbook section about replacing bulbs, I haven't had a mk6 myself so can't be sure.
