Battery Issues & Oil

Featured Replies

sat in car today with nothing but radio on for half an hour having something eat, and the battery died, its the second time this has happened, i dont put fans on, mess with windows or have lights on bar the interior ones, nothing to suggest the battery should go but on more than one occasion this has happened... the car is over-due a service, making sure can pay insurance first of all! but i am going to mention this after am sick of looking a idiot having to run with my car to start it!!!

also on a side note, i had a message pop up other day saying engine oil pressure low, and i am aware this is a pretty serious issue and could cause a fair amount of damage, but i aint seen ewt of it since... no potential issue is there?? (oil is no where near the minimum)

thanks for any help!! both just lil annoying things tbh!

sounds like an alternator or knackered battery to me...you can get both checked for free at most garages.

oil pressure light, normally when that shows its too late...especially at motorway speeds. check to make sure your sump plug, oil filter, oil filler cap and dip stick are secure. as you have already done so keep checking the oil level. if it reoccurs, check all again and could mean oil pump
