Bad Design?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Was bringing my mum back from town on Friday afternoon and she went to put the window up (on the passenger side) and the whole unit came out of its fixing.

Went to ford and the mechanic pulled a couple of clips and stuck it back in.

Now today it has come out again.

Here is a picture: http://s490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/AdamC11_Bling/Bad%20Design%20Electric%20Window%20Unit%20Passenger%20Side/

Where do i stand with getting it fixed by the dealer? Would i have to pay?

Cheers

It would probably be easier and handy for future reference to try to fix it yourself as long as nothing has snapped off it should probably be an easy fix.

If the car is less than 3 years no they shouldn't charge you, if it is more then they probably will try but just say its obviously wasn't fixed right last time so should be fixed properly this time for free.

Anthony

All they will do is put a dab of glue on it, just do it yourself to save wasting your time
