FFT
I have just purchased a 1 year old fiesta titanium.......nice, hooked up my phone to the blue tooth system no problem. But when i go into the phone book it gives me the surname 1st then the 1st name. Is it possible to change this in the settings to the "normal" way. I have looked through the manual but cant seem to find anything. My phone is set up in the correct way. Any help or advise will be appreciated. Thanks

Excellent choice of car and trim level if I may say so (lol). I don't think you can change the names around on the phonebook, could be wrong though. FFT
have you tried changing the display set up on the phone to see it that changes anything? Hi Preee, tried that on my phone to see if there was a problem in the setting there but its ok. if i change the phone book its ok on the car but then i have the same problem on the phone. its really strange because my other phone seems to work fine its just the iPhone 4 maybe something in the software. Thanks for the suggeation though.
JamesEncliffe
Just taken delivery of a Fiesta Titanium and have the same problem. Not only has it downloaded the entire phonebook (Facebook, Twitter, everything) which I don't want, but it has also mangled each entry by trying to put the last word first! So 'Bloggs Insurance Services' is now 'Services Bloggs Insurance' !!! How UTTERLY STUPID! I'm trying to find a way to correct this, but am coming to the conclusion that the entire phone directory subsystem on my Fiesta is unfit for purpose. It needs a serious code rewrite by someone who knows what they are doing. If I find an answer I'll post back :)

To be fair it's not just Ford. having spent time in the past trying to move managers phonebooks form the old phone to the new one come upgrade time I can vouch for the fact no-one in the phone industry seems to care about phone book stnadardisation. Each company has slightly different takes on the process and it invariably means a lot of manual sorting of a phone book after the transfer...
