Cigarette Lighter Fuse???

Featured Replies

Hi. Does anyone know where the fuse is for a 2000 Fiesta cigarette lighter? Thanks

The fuse for your 12v power point is under the steering wheel coloum off to the right (towards the driver's door) - there's a little hole in the dash, give that a pull and it'll come out and underneath that is your fuse box. In there somewhere is the fuse and I think it's either a 15amp or 20amp. I recently replaced mine because it blew, I can't quite remember which fuse it is though. If you haven't got a manual best thing I can suggest is pulling each one out until you find the broken one. You'll easily be able to tell if it's broken, and make sure any fuses you put back in goes back in the same place.

Hope that helps!

Dan :)

Welcome to the Forum,

when you get a moment upload some pictures to photobucket and link them to the forum,

some fuses may have a hairline gap in the connection so hold it up to the light like your checking the watermark on a £50 Note.

also this may sound obvious but always ensure the keys are out of the ignition and radio is off, before removing any fuses,
