Can't Get Any Cold Air In The Car?

Featured Replies

Hi all, annoying problem with me little Fiesta. I only discovered it yesterday on a long drive home on the on the motorway.

It seems that I'm unable to get any cold air through into the car and no matter what I do it always blows hot.

The only thing which I can think of is the feed thing for the heater matrix. I understand in my Fiesta it's electronically controlled so maybe it's not shutting off the hot coolant flowing through the heater matrix so I'm left with a constant supply of hot air?

I can't think what the particular part is called though?

Anyone had a similar issue or can advise me further?

Thanks,

Dan

(Used my phone for this post so sorry if there's bad spelling lol)

its common on the fiesta for the heater control valve to pack up.

That's what I assumed too tbh lol. I'll get the multimeter out before I buy a new one to check connections otherwise it's only a £15 fix.
