Today my minichamps Ford Fiesta arrived! It's took me the best part of 2 years to find an official one!

The detail is simply amazing! Not found one bit wrong with it. Got lucky on ebay on a buy it now for £25.99! Anybody else collect diecast cars?

Have a wrc Castrol branded 1:64 scale on the centre of the dash at the moment, I saw a mini before that had a scalextric model in the rear parcel shelve, it was wired with led's and when the parking lights were turned on in they would illuminate on the model too, same for the interior light, a lot of work to wire up, but kind of cool B)

It's never comming out the box :) As for different colours, far as im aware they only made 2 colours. Dark blue - based on a style (limited to 1200 worldwide) and my silver one - based on a Zetec or Titanium.

I have spotted a few mistakes, the Indicator on the wing mirrors is missing. And that it's left hand drive :D

I collect rally cars mostly from the 90s and early noughties. I have McRae and Burns Subarus and Burns 206 and Makkinen's 307 and his Escort Cosworth and a few others. Always been into rally so going to get a model of Ken Block's Fiesta when I have a bit more cash to burn haha. Well thats when I can find one that isnt the Hot Wheels one. I also have seen a few but theyve all been repainted (by the company but still) US model fiestas and he actually uses an EU spec fiesta looking at the front end.

i was going to say the arm of the wing mirror is body coloured, not black plastic

I saw one of these in my local Arnold Clarke dealer in the parts/accessories shop and was tempted but managed to resist.

Minichamps don't seem to make a focus 2.5 model 5 door , only seem to be st and rs models

Got mine just after getting car in early 2009, it's sat on the dash bluetacked, and crashed as one mirror came off, but have it.

Also have the ocean blue one, it was coming out and they said BLUE, mine was vision, so pre ordered, and it came in Ocean! and it does have gaps in the mirror paint as indicators!
