No worries dont feel stupid about it. The American fiesta was made to look as close to the European one as possible so it's an easy mistake to make until the differences are pointed out. The main exterior difference is the shallower front grilles and the led lights rather than fog lamps. This was due to north America having difference safety ratings to us and needing a bigger/stronger front bumper. The result was there wasn't the space behind the front skin for bezels and projector fog lamps - so a flatter led strip light was designed which in the USA is usually a feature only found on more premium cars.

(I'm quite knowledgable on the US fiesta at the moment having just watched a video last night on the differences between the euro and stateside versions lol - I'll post a link later when back at my pc).

on the theme of euro fez's saw some weird green ones on me hol, looked standard to... almost like a bottle green... and dont like the US fez, think with all them too the colour schemes were awful IMO
