Double Din Stereo Swap

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've got a Fiesta, MK6, 2004, Pre Facelift with the original triple stack stereo,

I want to get rid of it as it looks horrible,

Would it be possible to swap the triple stack out for the Ford 6000CD Player?

and would would be involved in doing it if it is possible?

Cheers,

Si

hi,

if you remove your existing stereo,

you will need to cut the 2 centre bars off with a Stanley blade,

creating a double din stereo slot,

then purchase your stereo but purchase one with the square surround not the one pictured,

their the same stereo but designed for different slot type,

and when your buying ya might as well get a Sony,

same surround as this one mate Click Here

also the cables you already have at the rear of the stereo will be the same for the new one,

so no need to purchase new ones. cool.gif

I love the Mk6
