i have the non-dab sony in my titty it's a good unit.

what they don't tell you is you also get sony speakers for free. B)

i found that out when i took my door card off to fix a speaker grille rattle!

Even better then makes the £600 or the stereo seem reasonable lol

Are the sonys much better than standards? Thought about upgrading my speakers :/ they do distort quite bad when turned up to anything past normal talking volume :(

cant really say whether they are better since i have no basis for comparison, but they dont distort at all (even when bass is on +5).

but the door card rattles something terrible

tho that is fixable with the sound dampening material and some acoustic wool...

Sounds great buddy, my favourite part of the Metal is the interior trim.... lovely!

But £600 for the stereo upgrade? Could go shopping into the aftermarket equipment and hammer the quality of the Sony unit, get all the fascia and get better speakers too and be cheaper that £600.....

I know but it it would mean the stereo unit would be standard I prefer the Sony colour because will match the piano black dash so really went for it for the colour lol

To help you carry on using your existing speakers turn the Bass down to +1 or +2 then you can put the stereo volume higher with out the baffle and still enjoy the bass mate,

i always keep mine at +2 and treble at +3 this way i can put the ford 6000cd stereo all the way up to 28 and no distirtion B)

Managed to somewhat cure it by turning the eq to flat on my iPhone :)

Congratulations....wish I was getting mine. I ordered a Fiesta Metal at the beginning of July and was due to get it last Friday but now been told that there is a problem with the rear axle bolts on the fiestas and fusions built between 13th and 23rd Sept in Cologne!! not got a clue when I will get it. At least when you upload your photos I will be able to see what it may look like!!! Look forward to seeing it.

White with all the extras.

Very pleased so far, fuel consumption is about what I thought, 700 miles averaged 45mpg.

Not sure where the £600 for the Sony unit came from.

I thought bluetooth was £200 and Sony upgrade made this figure a total of £400.

Sure someone will correct me if they think this is wrong.

Worth the wait people.. enjoy when you get it.

Hiya, that's great glad you like it. Have you got any pics yet? would be good to see it.. Can you tell me if the interior is all black rather than the bluey colour. I have noticed that all the new fiestas in the showroom seem to be more black in colour.

Yes all black except the air vents that are either side of the radio.

Seats are black with white stitching.

Will get around to pics soon, bit busy with work at present. Plus dirty and no chance to clean it ;-)

Being all black does mean the armrest blends in nicely.
