Water Leaking Help!

Okay so my fiesta would leak water and i would have to top it up every 5-10 miles or so. I took it to the garage and they replaced the thermostat housing.

Now when I start the car (sometimes the car wont even start and I have to bump it) a lot of steam comes out the exhaust (more than I have ever seen before). The Check Engine light has come on and remains on, and sometimes at first when it starts up it doesn't accelerate at full power.

Any ideas? I've been told it may be a air lock, or even worse possibly the head gasket?

None this happened before I took it to the garage!

Any ideas? Thanks
