My son lifted the seat lever on my 2007 fiesta and pretty much snapped it off, I see you can buy a replacement on ebay quite cheap, but are they easy to replace yourself?

    not sure about snapping off, or how they are on the mk6.5's but on the newer shape, the handle came out on me and it just slotted back in after some fiddling...

    Had the same thing happen on both a mk6 & mk6.5 Had it welded back on each time.
