Only just joined and really need some help and advice as im getting gased out when my air vents are open or sat in traffic im getting a really strong deisel smell inside the car really need to sort this as its only started happening the last few months im worried for my kids as its the daily runner.

Any sign of a leak in the engine bay?

Have you checked the breather hose from the crankcase?

first thing i'd check

also check the injector seals for signs of leakage,its a known fault on the fiesta.

When we started the car up last night there was some smoke coming from near the cold air intake hose where there are little slits in the pipe which are already there on the right hand side of the engine bay as you look at the car that as much info as i know of at the moment. it also smells like burnt deisel aswell
