geoffjuggs
Hi' Just bought an 08 1.6 tdci focus and asked the seller if there should be a cover over the coil pack area. He said they don't have them on this model but i'm not convinced. Most modern cars have a lump of useless plastic covering the spark plugs etc. Can anyone tell me if there is a cover on this model. Thanks in advance. Geoff
btmaldon
The petrol versions dont anymore. However, I thought the diesels did to quiet them down a bit, but not having a diesel I cannot be sure.

Geoff Hi Geoff, welcome to the forum mate, i have a 2010 1.6TDCI Focus and it didnt come with the engine cover but i bought one for it on eBay, i just need to purchase the bolts to fix it to the top of the engine but ford can supply these for under £20 i just didnt get to it yet, i believe the titanium diesel models came with the engine cover as standard if you get a moment join photobucket and upload some picture's of your motor's, you can then link them to this forum, once uploaded go to Album, below or above each picture on photobucket is an Image URL copy this URL and paste it in to your posts once pasted in the post remove the .img from either side of the link then its job done, also check out DMB Graphics for badge overlays or Original Vintage decals Click Here also please see the links to guides below this post, you may find some of them that interest Hope this helps B)
