Alright guys, i just bought an 09 zs diesel & was hoping to get you guys take on this!

Twice when ive moved my car over the road once the engine is turned off & doors locked etc a fan comes on? It stays on for about a minute. It also happened after a 2 mile journey as well & i was wondering if this was normal?

Some of my mates think its nothing while others feel the opposite, any advice would be appreciated :)

    Yeah its a diesel issue, well not an issue as such, but Ford say 'its the module shutting down' and its nothing to worry about.

    Hows it sound after a longer journey does it still come on?

    Its not came on once after a long journey thats the wierd thing! Even the day it was drove up from manchester so it did like 240 miles & still no fan kicked in

    Thought that mate, it only kicks in on short journeys, don't worry about it mate...:)

    Just as i thought it was settled, today after a 20 mile jouney it came on after the car was switched off, typical! Think it might need looked at
