talking about fiesta motors/regulators the other day/night... here is a couple of pics of one i have stripped down tonight..

I thought the last one i done was a white gear, maybe not.. although looking on ebay some do have white gears

same as last time though, able to push the window up and down with little resistance and sounds like the window has come off inside as you can still hear the motor running

its easy to get at the motor, remove the plastic door card (bit fiddly) and unplug the motor then remove the 3 torx screws holding the motor in

im trying to work out if the plastic gears are available separately

Got this problem with the mk6 Fiesta as well. Spoke to ford, and it is a common fault. They at this time do not sell the plastic gear seperately. Infact they only sell the motor with the regulator, and the large plastic door panel. The blue geared ones are for the 3dr, and the white geared ones are for 5dr version, but they are not interchangable. They are also rare in scrap yards to. I'm going to try to strip a broken drivers side one, to see if it is repairable with parts from a passenger side one.
