Hi all, i am a new member. I have been a ford owner since 1995 (brand new special edition escort) had mondeo, two focus and a fiesta since. I have just changed from a 58 plate zetec s tdci fiesta to a 60 plate white zetec s tdci fiesta.

Was getting average of 52 mpg on 58 plate fiesta, love the look of my new model fiesta but am very dissapointed in the mpg and lack of power compared to my 58 plate. On new fiesta only getting 44mpg and no more than 50 mpg on motorway and that driving sensible. My 58 plate fiesta had instant power whereas my new one although powerful enough does not pocess the same pick up so sadly now looking after only one month for a more powerful and economical car. after 16 years of fords i feel let down by this new model fiesta, i do not drive like a teenager so am very supprised in the backwardss step in power and mpg on this newer model. Are others finding poor mpg.
