Nitrogen For Free

Featured Replies

Hi all just had tyres filled with nitrogen for free at Costco.Have to be member.

Not sure what effect it will have yet?. B)

Apparently it takes longer to 'bleed' out through the tyres than air so should keep your tyres pumped up longer and therefore use less fuel etc

It also benefits from less pressure fluctuations from temperature... so your tyre pressures stay more constant.

funny thing is the atmosphere is about 80% nitrogen

so, will more places start doing this? or do they already?

Last time I went to Kwik Fit for a puncture repair they used nitrogen. You don't get more mainstream than that...
